Peter Anson

Peter AnsonPeter Anson was an artist and author who devoted his life to his interest in the sea, fishing, and the Church. Anson's paintings, over 800 in number, are a permanent tribute to his work. Many of them record life and events around the fishing ports of North East Scotland such as Findochty, Portknockie, Buckie and Lossiemouth. His work is a unique historical record as well as an artistic one, which had an attractive and distinctive style based on his original architectural training.
