This book tells the story of Jones (Buckie) shipyard from it's start, when James Jones purchased a sawmill in 1908 and the lands and sheds at Ianstown from McIntosh & sons in 1918, to it's closure in 1995. It includes a brief family history of the Jones family and a complete list of all the boats built, details of their owners and their final destinations. Recollections of ex-employees provide a detailed picture of the day to day workings of a busy boatbuilding yard.
